Best line available, June 26, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Stren Sonic Braid Superline Spools (Sports) This fishing line is far and away the best line I've ever used. I've tried so many types of mono, fluoro, and even other brands of braided line, but Stren's sonic braid and super braid are easily the best. No special knots, no stretching, no coiling, no slipping, and so far, no breaking. The strength of the line is amazing compared to it's thickness. This stuff is so thin that I use 20lb line on my ultralight rod. Truly great stuff.

They seem to be equal to one another in strength, and quality wise, both are good, high quality lines, but if you ask me, Stren casts further.
Use a fluorocarbon leader! I use a 4 foot one, 6 lbs. However, I'd tie my hardbaits directly onto the braid so they don't snag in salad in the water.
