Well, if you find men looking portly in a pair of waders "attractive," all rightie then. But, seriously, these are a bit more "sporty" than many competitors. The fit is JUST right! Warm and dry, just like they should be. I stood in late spring mountain water (=cold!) for two hours at a time and never felt a chill. Would buy again i a heartbeat! No reason to buy exorbitantly priced waders. These are VERY nice, and not just "for the price," either.

Hundred bucks for a pair of waders what do you expect? Then 2 months after I bought them, only a dozen uses or so, they started leaking. The company was great to give me a refund. The stocking feet are massive, way too big, and that's probably why they ripped... Always felt awkward, never really liked them, this was the last straw.

After reading several online reviews on waders, having some real-world experience with different varieties, and trying on several different brands and sizes at my local outdoor supply store - I went to Amazon.com! I found these and instantly knew I had come across a can't-pass deal. These same waders cost $130 at my local store - on sale! I had actually settled on a very basic pair of breathable chest waders - with no pockets, reinforced knees, gravel guard, or any other features - which were on sale there for $89.
These have excellent reviews and, in my opinion, are the best breathable waders for the money. I bought the X-Large Short Stout size and they fit perfectly. I love the breathable material. As soon as you step out of the water, your legs begin to ventilate - compared to classic neoprene... Read more
