This was my first baitcaster and I wanted quality. The Abu Garcia Revo reels are professional grade fishing tools and are as good or better than anything out their. Amazon and its partner offer good prices for these items as well. High points for this reel are the easy brake adjustments, the super powerful drag, they are reasonably light, and, oh yeah, they catch fish. I have since bought more Abu baitcasters including another couple SX's. They are an excellent value.
