Fine Reel!, December 22, 2009 I have has the Penn 330 GTi for 3 years now. I have fished striper, bluefish, shark and king mackeral all without a bit of trouble. Some say the level wind isn't good for saltwater. I respectfully disagree. The levelwind works great and keeps you focused on fighting the fish. No need to worry about the line bunching up in one area of the spool. I really like the reel!

Great reel, May 11, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Penn GT Level Wind Reel (Misc.) Good rugged fairly large reel, made in USA. I use mine for halibut and tuna. Always works with no problems, and being a Penn you can always get repair parts and they are easy to clean and repair. Not as nice as Penn Internations, but nmowhere near the price either. I have owned mine for a year or two and no problems.
