It's a Penn - enough said, February 28, 2008 By Amazon Verified Purchase For surf casting for Striped bass on the coast of Maine - it is all I'll ever need. I've looked at the others and there are some other strong brands on the market but I'll only go Penn and the 750ss Spinfisher holds up well becasue... "I'm rough on things".

Bought it Used on ebay, but it can take a big game easily. Marlin on 25lbs line a piece of cake. Just Look for Made USA. Not Outside USA made. Not Pro But it did the work.
